i adore these!!!! i am a hefty size 24 so it was with trepidation i tried these on at home, the waist looked so small! BUT they are so stretchy, they fit very comfortably. i love the details-little zips and buttons, and nice big pockets. they are a very light, gaberdiney type material. i expect they will dry quickly in the rain. i got them to walk my dog on the beach, and am sick of getting soaking wet jeans in the rain. i am so pleased i have sent off for another pair. Because they are so stretchy, they do tend to 'ride up' a bit in the leg, which is a bit annoying. i wash them on a cool wash, then give them a bit of a leg pull and then hang them on a clothes horse to dry-they dry very quickly. i wouldn't put them in the dryer if i were you. if this really got on your nerves, i suppose you could stitch a wide 'stirrup' on the bottom of the leg, that would go under your foot to keep them in place (like some leggings have). for me, the sheer comfort round the bottom and thighs outweighs this minor problem.

These are extremely comfy. They have seams down the front which actually keeps the shape well, prevents stretch and bagging at the knees. The fabric is thin, these are not warm winter kit, but they look smarter than most comfy trousers. But I have to say I don't like the shiny metallic buttons and zips. They're only ornamental and they spoil the appearance. I think this is a Chinese fashion thing, a slightly military look. I cut them all off, which is a faff, but worthwhile.
